Case Study

Cost per quotable lead: $1,500 to $600.

GreenCal · California · October 2025 – June 2026

Three service lines on one system, rotated by season so the sales team never runs dry. Closed revenue and pipeline are tracked as two separate numbers here and we never show them as one.

What we ran

Everything, on one system.

Flat fee. Ad spend on their card, straight to Google and Meta. No percentage of spend, month-to-month from day one.

The story

Three service lines, and a sales team that went quiet between them.

01 · What was broken

Busy months, then nothing

GreenCal sells roofing, solar and painting, and each one peaks at a different time of year. Nothing coordinated them, so some months buried the sales team and others left reps idle. Traffic landed on the main site with no service-specific path to convert on.

02 · What we built

One system, three services, on a rotation

Google, Meta and Local Service Ads behind dedicated landing pages for each service line, then a seasonal rotation that put the right offer in front of the right audience at the right time. Roofing holds the floor year-round, solar ramps through summer, painting layers into the shoulder seasons.

03 · What the numbers did

The gaps closed, and so did the cost per lead

Cost per quotable lead came down from around fifteen hundred dollars to six hundred as the rotation found its rhythm. The bigger change is the one that keeps a sales team employed. The quiet months stopped being quiet.

The idea that moved it

Seasonality is not a problem.
It is a rotation.

Most multi-service contractors pick their strongest line and ride it, which means two thirds of the business goes quiet for half the year. GreenCal had the opposite option available: three services whose seasons barely overlap.

So we stopped treating them as three campaigns and started treating them as one calendar. The sales team sees a steady line instead of three spikes.

“Working with the Duo team has been a DREAM. We now have 3 of our home service companies using their services. They’ve been so patient setting up all of our accounts, and the landing pages are icing on the cake.”
